Pursuant to State Law No. 2L-14-80 as amended and FSM applicable laws, the following are legal holidays to be observed throughout the State of Pohnpei.

Pohnpei State Government employees, except those who must stand duty, are excused from work with pay on these legal holidays. |

In addition, the Municipal and Town Governments celebrate holidays designated by ordinance as legal holidays. Pohnpei State Government employees wishing to observe Municipal or Town Government holidays may use authorized vacation leave or LWOP, as appropriate. |
