Beyond The Reef is a full service dive
facility with a secret. What's the secret? Uncrowded boats. We cater to individuals,
couples, and small groups who want to explore Yap's best dive sites with a maximum of five
divers per boat. Why? Because with small dive groups, the mantas get more personal, the
sharks are more inquisitive, the turtles become friendlier, the schools of fish less shy,
and the dive trips are more fun. Why not let the folks at Beyond The Reef spoil you? Our
professional dive staff will show you the best diving Yap has to offer, whether it's our
daily two-tank dive day complete with our "island-style" lunch, three-tank dive
day, or our regularly scheduled night dives. We even have barbecues at the water's edge.
Snorkeling in Yap is great too, and seeing huge mantas from the surface leaves memories
not soon forgotten.
Our fleet of boats is
fast, comfortable, and safe, and are equipped with on-board VHF radios, oxygen, first aid
kits, and bimini tops for sun protection. Beyond The Reef is a member of the PADI
International Resort Association, offering PADI diving instruction from Discover Scuba
through Divemaster and a variety of specialties. Our gift shop, repair center, and
classroom are located on the water at the Marina Restaurant, the island's most popular
