New Chuuk Branch Management

On November 17, 2002, Orin Simion was selected amongst many applicants to be Branch Manager of the Chuuk Social Security Branch Office. His selection again reminds us of the late Danimoto James, who was the former Chuuk Branch Manager until he passed away on September 30, 2002.

Mr. Simion has been serving the Social Security Program for over 20 years to date. His diligence and hard work have indeed paid off. In the year 1980, Orin Simion was hired to the Chuuk (back then Truk) Branch as a clerk. He quickly became a Field Technician in the year 1982 and served in that position for 19 years. During all his years at Chuuk Branch, he did good work and showed considerable determination. In the year 1999, Orin Simion became the Assistant Branch Manager of Chuuk Social Security. When Danimoto James' untimely passing created a vacancy for the office of Chuuk Branch Manager, Mr. Simion was selected amongst many applicants.

Alexander Narruhn, the FSM Social Security Administrator welcomes Orin Simion to his new post and congratulates him on the reward that his dedication, determination and experience have brought him.

In the wake of Orin Simion's hiring, there is a vacancy in the seat of the Assistant Branch Manager. Yoshinobu Paul Mori was hired as Assistant Branch Manager to Orin Simion. Mori's term begins on January 1, 2002.
