FSMSS Administrator Presents at EPIC Conference

On October 15, 2004, the FSMSS Administrator, Alexander R. Narruhn, made a presentation at the EPIC Conference that was held on Pohnpei.
The main focus of his presentation was the faltering funds of the Prior Service Program.
In his presentation, he iterated the history of the Prior Service Program, and revealed that the program is facing collapse if no further funding is found. He further called upon the leadership of the nation to rally behind the Prior Service Administration in lobbying for funding.
The Administrator requested that the Economic Policy Implementation Council (EPIC) make a resolution to congress for the National Government’s assistance in the Prior Service Administration’s lobbying of funding from the United States Government. EPIC granted his request and the resolution is now pending with the Attorney General’s office.
